Toddlers

Our toddler classrooms foster the development of early independence and self-help skills in a developmentally appropriate environment. We open doors with science, art, sensory activities, foreign language and early math concepts. Each class is staffed with teachers who encourage social development and age appropriate interactions with peers and teachers.

Kidz Tyme Academy provides a low teacher / child ratio which allows time for positive interaction between the teacher and child. This provides our toddlers a wealth of opportunities for individualized attention and instruction.

Our toddlers will enjoy weekly themed units, daily circle time and specially designed outdoor play area. The teachers adapt their schedules and events to meet individual children's needs within the group setting.

They recognize a toddlers' need to repeat tasks until they master the steps and skills involved, while letting them go at their own pace. The appropriate interaction to promote literacy between children and teachers are seen through frequent reading, singing, finger plays, and acting out simple stories. Children have daily opportunities for exploratory activities such as water and sand play, painting and clay or play dough manipulation.

Teachers will work in partnerships with parents on a daily basis to ensure that their child's needs, both physical and social-emotional are met.

We would listen closely to our parents in order to understand the parent's goals and preferences for their child. The Teachers will be respectful of all cultural and family differences, which will reflect in their classrooms.
